Maintaining Trampoline Springs – Tips and Tricks

The best way to maintain your trampoline springs is to keep them from getting damaged in the first place. That’s why many trampoline owners invest in several different trampoline accessories that are designed to help protect the important parts of the trampoline from unnecessary wear and tear. If you purchase no other accessory for your structure, you should consider a trampoline cover. This piece of weather proof fabric is made to fit snugly over the frame of the trampoline, and will help to keep water, sunlight, dirt and debris away from the structure and off of the trampoline springs.
If you do discover that one or more of your trampoline springs has become damaged or stretched in some way, it’s important to keep all jumpers off of the structure until it has been properly repaired. Those that use their trampoline quite frequently find that it’s often a good idea to simply keep a collection of replacement springs on hand so that repairs can be made quickly, and you can continue jumping safely. Trampoline springs can be purchased directly from the maker of your trampoline, but this is usually unnecessarily costly.
